August 2025 - Happy to report a lot of progress concerning the work on my next big new audiovisual concert piece. I don't feel like sharing any interim results, and it will take another few months till it will be ready, but I am having a great time developing it: writing the needed software for it, working on music, thinking about the overall shape and meaning of the work, and in general making sure it will be worth experiencing once it is ready to be brought to the world.

May 2025 - Lumière-III just had its final performance at Mapping Festival in Geneva, on May 24. I started working with lasers in 2012 with the 'Fragile Territories' installation, and in 2013 the first version of Lumière had its premiere. At that time no commercial laser graphics software could accomplish the things I am interested in. I did develop my own unique system, which I refined in the years to come, and which inspired amongst others the creators of Touch Designer to implement their own laser control after seeing my Lumière II show in Toronto in 2015. When performing Lumière-III in Geneva, I realised I still consider it a great artistic and technical achievement, even by the standards of 2025.
